Monthly Food Menu<\/a><\/p>\n\t\t\t7:30 – 9:30 am: Free Choice<\/p>\n
Students come in and choose the areas that they want to play in. It is the time students get to socialize with others and transition them into a daily routine.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t9:30 – 9:50 am: English \/ Cantonese Circle Time<\/p>\n
There are three circles in a day. \u00a0This is the first circle. Teachers will talk about calendar, weather, numbers, check-in, singing, story, and\/or discuss the topic that is to be discovered. Out of three circles, one is in Chinese (Cantonese) and one is in English.\u00a0It provides students the opportunity to discuss and talk about class themes in both languages.<\/p>\n
The third circle is known as the Wrap Up Circle. This time is dedicated for teachers and children to reflect on the day’s learning and discussions. The time can also be used for stories.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t9:50 – 10:05 am: Morning Snack<\/p>\n
We provide free snack\/meal program during the morning and lunch.\u00a0Students eat nutritious foods that contribute to the wellness, healthy growth, and development of young children.<\/p>\n
We also provide lunch which meets the food nutritious requirement. <\/p>\n
\t\t\t10:05 – 10:25 am: Small Groups \/ Centers Time<\/p>\n
Teachers plan out\/design activities that allow students to explore or discover themes discussed during the circle time. \u00a0<\/p>\n
\t\t\t10:25 – 10:55 am: Cantonese \/ English Circle Time
\n\t\t\t10:55 – 12:10 pm: Outdoor Play<\/p>\n
Transition students to get ready to play at the playground.\u00a0Teachers will also plan activities that allow students to play together as a team that allow physical development.<\/p>\n
(Allows 20 minutes for walking back and washing hands to get ready for lunch)<\/b><\/p>\n
\t\t\t12:30 – 1:00 pm: Lunch Time<\/p>\n
Lunch \/ brushing teeth<\/p>\n
\t\t\t1:00 – 3:00 pm: Naptime<\/p>\n
Students will rest their mind and body after lunch. Teachers help students sleep. If children don\u2019t want to sleep, they will just rest quietly, read a book, or do quiet activities at the table. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
\t\t\t3:00 – 3:20 pm: Afternoon Snack
\n\t\t\t3:20 – 3:30 pm: Wrap-up Circle \/ Storytime
\n\t\t\t3:50 – 5:30 pm: Free Choice Time<\/p>\n
Supervised Free Choice Activities\/Play (all areas open); Small group Activities (Younger and Older Group children). School closes at 5:30 pm.<\/p>\n
