What is a Projects-Based Curriculum?
Children decide together to investigate an area of interest to them and they choose a project, such as “Places People Live.” Through each project they develop critical thinking skills as they ask questions related to the project. Children may work on a project for a few weeks or for several months. In the process of their project work, they learn vocabulary and develop literacy in Cantonese and English.
